The Orpheum Theater

The Grauman’s Chinese Theatre was initially found in Central L. A.. Sid Grauman then decided he wanted to build one in Hollywood, which opened on May 18, 1927. Cecil B. DeMille’s “King of Kings” premiered at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre that night. The day after the theatre was opened to the public. Many movie premieres are held at the theatre because it's the most widely wanted theater to premiere a movie in. In 1968, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre was named a historic-culture landmark.
