Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Week
The annual Martin Luther King Jr. celebration week celebrates Doctor. King’s visit to New York University on Feb. 10, 1961, by offering a weeklong schedule of specialised activities and programs every February. A featured event is held at the Skirball Center for Performing Humanities, as well as guest lectures, panels and discussions on campus, art exhibitions and Week of Service volunteer prospects. This comprises the AMC (Executive Management Council’s) Badly behaved Knitters and Cunning Crocheters workshop, which knits and crochets hats for and scarves for local seniors.
