The HTC Sensation is a slick smart phone that runs on a 1GHz dual-core nVidia Tegra 2 CPU along with 8GB of internal storage. To put it best, it’s a power house; it even includes a 1500mAh battery, a high-quality charger and top-notch shell that doesn’t necessarily require you to buy an aftermarket case. This smart phone also boasts a wide array of highly productive Sensation accessories. After all, productivity is what this new T-Mobile is all about, but in order to get the most out of your smart phone in terms of productivity, you have to choose the right organizational apps.

At the top of any worthwhile list of organizational apps is Dropbox. Dropbox is an online cloud service that supports Windows, Mac OS X, Android devices, Apple’s i-family and so forth. In other words, Dropbox is your very secure data storage service that can be accessed from anywhere. This benefit is extremely tremendous and functional. Work done at home is available from your office, and pictures taken on the road are available at home. Better yet, Dropbox is a completely free service up to 2 GB. That’s a lot of space for an average user, but if you decide you need more, you can opt to pay for extra.

For maximum organization, and thus maximum productivity, every HTC Sensation user needs a virtual notebook and a to-do list manager. The neat thing about Evernote is that it is both a to-do list manager and a virtual notebook. Having both of these functions in sync saves a lot of time and it makes personal organization that much more convenient. Use the notebook to keep track of your tasks and if one of those items becomes a priority, just slide it over to the list. Users can categorize lists, set priorities and even receive push notifications.

For those involved with business, CamCard Lite is a great Android application that allows you to take pictures of business cards. We’ve all been in business situations where we’re running behind schedule and trying to record details, or we’re at a conference and meeting too many new people to keep up with. CamCard Lite overcomes this problem by taking a picture of the business card, and then it actually reads the information from the card, and enters it into your contacts database for you. The lite application comes at no cost; the pro version for $9.99 handles translations, and includes other advanced features.

Another useful organization tool is the Voice Recorder application. While there are a lot of tools like this one, we prefer the Voice Recorder because it’s free and with tight focus. Just start the application and press the record button. The only limitation to recording is the amount of internal storage available, and with the 8 GB the Sensation provides, that won’t be a problem. The app automatically labels files by date and time, and you can add a text label for readability. One particularly neat feature is to set the Voice Recorder on a timer so that it automatically begins recording at a certain time. It is essential to keep in mind that there are many cell phone accessories out there for this mobile phone. HTC accessories will aid you in getting the most out of your mobile phone.
