I definitely have not had the tv calibrated or even modified the settings much. On the other hand, the picture is gorgeous because it is and calibration would only make it that considerably greater, even though perhaps significantly less spectacular for anyone who want that greater than realism. Oh i forgot to add this nevertheless has the buzzing like the ST30 as far as my set goes. About 5 feet away it was loud ample to hear whilst watching a movie.
