Requirements for LPN Training Program
To attend LPN school program, you need to hold high school diploma or equivalent. Some programs may require to hold CNA certification.

Anatomy and physiology 1 & 2 with lab = Biology 111 & 112
Human lifespan development = Psychology 150
Microbiology with lab = Biology 240
Nutrition = DN 203
English composition = English 111
High school chemistry/college chemistry with lab = Chemistry 055
Grade C or better (or equivalent) in all of the above courses before they could be accepted to the program.

Program content
The schools or training facilities at first introduces theories concerning the skills that has to be developed for one to become good at his job. More emphasis is however given in practical application. Throughout the training, students undergo evaluation on how they fared in the delivery of the skills that they are meant to master. You may have to give written and oral exams to evaluate your basic ideas incorporated in the profession. After obtaining LPN status, you may continue your education to get advance nursing degree.
