It’s a fact that buying a vehicle from Japanese car auction system is very tricky business. We advise all our buyers/clients to become fully accustomed to the Auction process and rules before you think of bidding from japan auto auction. Our role as the Japan auction agent is to educate the buyer of the complexity involved in buying the used vehicles from the Japanese auto auction houses. The below image gives you an idea of Japan Auto Auctions hold in all 47 different prefectures (provinces) all over Japan.

The car may appear cheaper in auction house located at Hokkiado but transporting it to Kobe port from where it may be easy to ship to your destination port could cost a lot of money. If you see the local transport cost at the below table it shows the costing at JPY 41,000/- which is about USD 500/- and presuming your cost of vehicle is USD 1,000/- than just the local transport cost is about 50% of the cost of the vehicle. Don’t forget there are other costing such as shipping and container loading and auction agent fees. One can also click http://www.nzalpine.org.nz/a-look-at-japanese-used-vehicles.html.

For every auction bid, whether the bid is successful or not, there is auction participation fee of YPY 1,000/- so presuming that your bid was too low than also you will end up paying the auction fee of JPY 1,000/- and not getting anything out of it. Now imagine if you had multiple unsuccessful bids? Your cost keeps going up in the end. This auction participation fees are charged by auction house and not buy the auction agent. You also can not RISK to do multiple bidding because if you are buying only one vehicle and if 2 of your bids are successful, you are now stuck with 2 vehicles instead of your need of just one. The penalty involved in not taking delivery of the successful bid is about USD 500/-.

The buyer need’s to pay balance amount within 4 working days, starting from the day of the auction, after bid was successful. If the final amount has not been paid within 4 days, your deposit will not be refunded even though your bid has been successful. So unless the buyer is ready with all his payment, he should not jump on to bidding from auction. We as auto auction agent only take a small fee to co-ordinate the logistic involved in facilitating from bidding in to auction to shipping the cargo. We are not financing the vehicles for the buyer.

Upon the successful bidding from auction, we will arrange transportation of vehicle from the auction house to the nearest shipping port and notify to you. There will be free storage of 30 days at the shipping port and we will arrange with the shipping line for earliest vessel sailing to your destination port/country. In case shipment takes more than 30 days, parking fees of JPY 500 per day will be charged. One can always check http://www.coyotes.co.nz/whether-japan-car-imports-are-reliable-or-not.html out for more information.

There’s no doubt that Japanese cars are famous throughout the world for their value, quality, reliability, durability and above all economical prices. Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan and Suzuki are best known brands used all over the globe. Though all these brands are sold at their dedicated showrooms in each country, every week more than 100,000 used Japanese cars are imported worldwide. More people are looking forward to Japanese car imports. These cars are imported either for personal use or commercial.

From cars to SUVs and Buses people like importing Japanese cars at low and affordable prices. These used cars are first bought and driven in Japan, later they are sold in the grey market. A grey import vehicle is sold and marketed legally through channels other than Vehicle Company owned showrooms, therefore a grey market refers to the markets where such vehicles are sold. 10 best Japanese sport cars are Toyota Supra, Honda Integra Type R. Toyota MR2 Turbo, Nissan Skyline, Toyota Celica, Mitsubishi FTO, Nissan 300ZX, Mazda RX-7, Honda Prelude and Mitsubishi 3000GT.

For importing a Japanese sports car the easiest way is to log on to internet, find an appropriate importing agent or a dealer, participate in an auction, buy the desired sports car, and get it. The process seems simple, but it’s not. It is advisable to proceed through a dealer as you get a full control over the process. The dealer also makes sure that the vehicle is delivered on time, without and damages made.

The hard work included in the process is only handled by the dealer themselves, also providing a viable warranty. The person buying the sports car can view it over the internet, they can choose the color, model and directly participate in the auction too. Every importing agent has a direct or indirect relation with an exporting agent in Japan. For the supply chain to work, they further contact the exporter. The duty of the exporter in this case is simpler.

The export agent would pick the vehicle, give it to a freight forwarding company that too is in business relation with both the exporter and importer. Once the vehicle is on board there are different taxations and custom duty that are paid by the buyer. Although all the cumbersome work is guarded by the dealer you choose, it is important to know that the dealer chosen is reliable and dependable. As you are the primary buyer if the vehicle, you must make sure you get all details of the vehicle and its transportation. One can always check http://www.providecars.com/ out for more information.
