The Super Pit Mine is a going concern and is a massive mine, producing roughly one tenth of the world's gold. It's a huge hole in the ground, measuring 3.5 kilometres long and 1.5 kilometres wide. It produces an amazing 800,000 oz of gold annually and can offer a glance of the excitement and shock that gold appears to produce.
