Ever encountered a broken Nintendo Wii console? Don’t know what to do now that you cannot finish your favorite game? Don’t trust those individuals at the Parcel Delivery services or the low level repair technicians at the so-called repair centers as you know in the rear of your mind that a lot of them are simply low trained technicians that are taught to sell more parts and repair time? Do not despair as you are far from being alone in this situation. I myself have been there – and I repaired that. You noticed that I said repaired my own Wii, all with the help of a little known Wii Fix Guide.

Let me first tell you my story. Nothing ruins my Friday night more than a broken Wii console. I know some people like to go to a club to enjoy a drink, I do too every now and then. But when you just came from a hell-week with a tyrannical boss and mountains of paperwork, sometimes you just want to end the week at home playing with your beloved metal companion… the Nintendo Wii!

So here is what I did. I had the whole evening to play and enjoy myself, all night if I felt like it. But I needed to find a fast solution. It was not working and I had remembered coming across something about DIY Wii repair online in the past.

Obviously, shipping my gaming console to a repair center wouldn’t get me up and running too fast. That could take days or even a couple of weeks before I could have my unit back. Not forgetting, if the repair center has a backlog of Wii consoles that require fixing too, getting my unit back will obviously take a lot longer. In addition, I have to worry about some, why don’t we just say… unfortunate situations come up by sending my Wii away to be repaired.

The most memorable one is that it arrive working but has numerous scratches. Now I can’t simply blame anyone as this could have happened at the repair shop or at transit or shipping. I’m a little OCD so I just gave away that unit.

In plain words this is my second Wii gaming console and I am not what you would consider wealthy by any means and I do not feel like flipping the bucks for a new console. Particularly knowing this is probably some common problem that happens with a lot of Wii’s and can easily be fixed using a good Wii repair guide. Though I do not have much technical training I am good with my hands and love to tinker with things so this is the route I am choosing to take.

I proceeded to follow my thoughts online and see what I could find out about the DIY Wii repair or Wii Fix Guide that I had previously heard about in one of the gaming forums. After spending some time with Google I found quite a bit of information on the Wii Fix Guide. I do not buy into anything without doing serious product reviews so I spent about an hour on research and concluded that the Wii Fix Guide was the answer to my problems. A fellow gamer in one of the forums made it a serious recommendation and gave me his story on how it helped repair his Wii. The icing on the cake was free email support! This is nowhere included in any other Wii guide or forum.

So I visited the site. Usually, I have doubts about this but after seeing the website and that it is professionally designed (shady ones usually have generic web page construction) my confidence is gradually building up. What sealed the deal is that they offer email support to teach how to fix Wii problems. I always preferred email support and being able to ask specific questions. It always makes things much easier.

So to make a long story short I repaired my Wii that night and was much happier and able to spend the rest of the evening playing my favorite gaming console.

As a seventh generation console, Wii competes with other generation console such as the Microsoft’s Box 360 and Sony’s play station. It is a social and active entertainment service that brings the whole family together. Unlike other generation console, it is a fun and intuitive game that is enhanced by our body motions.

I normally unwind with my Wii but had a very harsh and unsettling experience when I first updated my Wii system and was alerted to the fact that I had less than 3GB’s of memory left over. All out of the total 8GB’s. This seems to be where my problems began. The operation system was getting very slow and unstable as I tried to do normal everyday things such as access the settings and noticed it was taking a lot longer than normal. Not to mention the amount of time it was taking to do simple things such as open images or sounds effects.

As these problems arose I was advised to add a thumb drive to my Wii system. I was told this would indeed speed things up and they seemed to for a short time. But then more complications started to pop up and then the USB port became very outdated and thus slowed down the amount of current and data that would pass through each port. It was then that I knew I had to seek some sort of Wii repair. I had to do some research to find the best options for getting my Wii fixed.

For a while I thought of sending the machine to a repair house but only to realize that their services are too expensive and most of their clients are not trustworthy when it comes to repair of the gadget. As a result of these I decided that the Wii repair manual was the right thing to do. I was able to do my own repair and upgrades and not have to deal with sending it out and saved a load of money. This totally makes me feel empowered by being able to do things like this myself and my family looked up to me at the same time, the minute I turned the Wii back on and we were up and playing games again.

As always everyone points out that the real option is to send your Wii out for upgrades or repair. Then you read about the real nightmare stories of the long wait times and the Wii coming back in worse condition or not coming back at all. I knew this was not the route I wanted to take. There had to be another option. Then I came across reviews of a Wii Fix Guide website. Most of the reviews were really good and talking about great step by step plans with images and to top it off live email support. I had to go this route. After a short time of doing my Wii repair and upgrades I had my Wii up and running again.
