OK hence I'd like to talk a touch today about achievement in university. The explanation is often because I had to leave college to run my business. When I left, I did not regard it as a failure, rather I considered the university a failure in their inability to offer solutions to all my questions and teach me at a pace that I was capable of learning. You see, I took 33 credits in one semester in California, and I think I might have the record for that. I had to go to 2 different varsities to do it and then merge the transcripts later . At the end of that semester I ended up with an AS in business and an AA in general.
Yesterday, I was chatting to an acquaintance about all this and he rationalized that some of the greatest entrepreneurs ever, or the most outstanding anyhow had also had to leave college to run their corporations. Folk like Steven Jobs, Bill Gates, Michael Dell, and the latest kid Mark Zuckerberg to name a couple. So , it might be hard to say that succeeding in university is a necessity for success in the actual world. Likewise, I suspect that success in varsity doesn't ensure future feat in your career, business, or your capability to pay off all those student loans.
Many are convinced that to succeed in life you should go to college, and that's absolute horse dung. I am able to make it plain that almost all of the local small company folks who were moderately successful in the numerous cities I have lived in did not have school degrees, but they have many folks with varsity degrees who work for them. Further, it has always been noted down that people who get a B average in college are hiring the folks that got an An average to work for them. Isn’t that ironic? Sure it is, but it's so standard that it is important that we state the facts.
Many political experts say that going to college is the key to success, and we need all of our kids at college to go to varsity. But are we putting them into college simply to keep them at of the work force for another six or 7 years therefore, there are sufficient jobs for everybody else – or are we having them go to college so they can handle the futuristic roles of the future?
Because as I see it; androids, artificial intelligence, and not humans will be doing the roles future not all those youngsters who went to university who've got a hundred thousand buck college loans to pay off. Indeed I hope you'll please consider these words of wisdom, and this totally disrespectful debate.
