When you embark on the A+ training course you will develop an understanding of how to build, fix, repair and work in antistatic conditions. You’ll also cover fault finding and diagnostics, through both hands-on and remote access. Should you fancy yourself as someone who works for a larger company – in network support, add Network+ to your CompTIA A+, or alternatively look at doing an MCSA or MCSE with Microsoft as you’ll need a better comprehension of how networks function.
It can be a nerve-racking task, but finding your first IT job is often eased by some training providers because they offer a Job Placement Assistance service. Ultimately it isn’t so complicated as you might think to secure a job – once you’re trained and certified; because there’s still a great need for IT skills in the UK today.
Work on polishing up your CV right away however. Don’t procrastinate and leave it for when you’re ready to start work. Through video streaming, you can watch instructors demonstrating how to perform the required skill, and then have a go at it yourself – with interactive lab sessions. It makes sense to see a small selection of training examples before you make your decision. The minimum you should expect would be video tutorials, instructor demo’s and interactive modules with audio visual elements.
