When you first met, you probably found out you had things in common. Due to that, you got involved in one another. Do you remember some of the more normal things you both enjoyed? These are the common-or-garden events that might not look like a romance in the making, but easy things you liked doing together.
Ask your spouse about what they remember about the things you used to do together that didn't involve entertainment. Think of the things you once liked to do on a lazy day that did not involve a call to the box office or possibly a seat at a bistro. Now that you remember those easy things, take out the paper or log on to your local town’s website and see what’s going down around the area. Here are a pair examples simply to get you thinking:
Visit Open Houses
Maybe rambling thru brilliantly decorated homes is something the pair of you enjoy. You get to drive around town alone, spending time in your spouse’s company. When you get to the open house, you are typically treated to some sort of nibbles and beverages. You can amble thru fascinating homes and come up with ideas for decorating your own place, or just share thoughts about what you see.
Often these open houses are arranged for a grouping of homes that are for sale. Nevertheless you may also like the open homes set up especially for the vacation seasons. The glitter and glamour is romantic and will provide you with a nice day or evening that's terribly cheap, but entertaining.
Amble the Yard Sales
Taking a relaxed stroll around tables of ‘treasures ‘ won't be everyone's notion of romance, but if you and your spouse like to hold hands and talk of the old days or probabilities for the new days, then yard sales are the place for you. The entire ‘trash to treasure ‘ industry is entertaining and popular for a good reason. You will find just as many folks reminiscing about their lives together as you'll people buying stuff. It’s rather more like a trip down memory lane than a day of shopping.
Take your biggest car and a pocket full of cash. As you look thru the racks and tables, talk to each other about the things you find valuable in your own house, and lives. You could learn something about your other half, and you could even find something you need to buy!

Discover Each Other in a Book shop
When couples are looking to reconnect and romance one another, a book shop is a natural choice. What's finer way to learn about one another than by watching what books they choose. Romance starts with rediscovery, so seeing what your spouse selects to read certainly will provide assistance in that department.
Sit and share a coffee in a quiet corner away from the gang. Choose a book of poems and take turns reading them to one another. Pick out a romance novel and pass the book backwards and forwards showing your partner the attractive passages. You might even learn one or two things or get one or two ideas for later on that evening!
How-To Workshops
As straightforward as this sounds, these small how-to workshops at craft and home improvement stores are fun and sometimes very inexpensive. And, you learn new things! Whether you make a bird house or learn a new painting method, you will have fun doing it together.
There are plenty of chances for these how-to workshops but they are particularly popular during holidays. You can carve pumpkins, make candy, prepare flowers, or build bird baths, dependent on the season. You may even get a new pursuit to enjoy with your spouse, which is another romantic idea!
