The Wellington wedding is going to be my largest catering gig by far. There’ll be over two hundred guests and they will all be starving when the wedding reception is held.
I must ensure all of my food is warm and ready when the guests are ready to eat. We are going to have everything from spaghetti to lobster to grilled veggies on the platters, so the cooking times and moving times have to be well coordinated. We plan on cooking the food in our nearby restaurant facility and then hiring some additional movers NYC who can handle food items with care.
The wedding will be held in June, so I do not believe there’ll be too much of an issue with the food getting cold on the way from the eatery to the park where the wedding will be held. Still, I would like to hire some NYC movers who are fast and efficient so as to guarantee the heat issue won’t be a problem at all, regardless of the weather.
We are going to have the food delivered in a couple vans. All of our company trucks will be used, that’s the reason why we want to hire the extra movers. They have not done this before, so we are going to have some rehearsal runs before the actual wedding. Everything needs to go from the kitchen to the park in under twenty minutes.
We even specially equipped the movers’ usual moving trucks with some kitchen gear to keep the food warm on the ride over. This will be critical to success and I thinkwe should perhaps even schedule a couple of extra rehearsal runs. The Wellingtons are paying a good sum of money on this catering service, so it’s probably wiser to spend a tiny bit extra to make sure nothing goes wrong in June.
